Buckeyes' Upset of Caitlin Clark, Iowa Still a Favorite Memory for Former OSU Star

For Iowa sports fans, the memory of Caitlin Clark's final college season is bittersweet. While the Hawkeyes dominated much of the 2023-24 campaign, one stunning upset in Columbus still stings — and it remains a defining moment for the Ohio State program.

Former Buckeye guard Jacy Sheldon, now with the Chicago Sky, recently shared that her favorite memory from her five seasons at Ohio State was the January 2024 game against the University of Iowa. In front of a record crowd of 18,000, the 18th-ranked Buckeyes stunned No. 2 Iowa in overtime, 100-92.

“Oh man, we have a lot of them. I'd say our Iowa game — we played Iowa at home, and that was the most people we've ever had in our arena,” <
