Iowa Cubs affiliates had a mixed night on the diamond, but South Bend stole the show with a 14-3 demolition of the Cedar Rapids Kernels, powered by a historic night from center fielder Alexey Lumpuy.

Lumpuy was unstoppable, going a perfect 5-for-5 with three doubles and a stolen base. He drove in four runs and scored once, leading South Bend to a blowout victory over the Twins affiliate.
