Iowa Basketball Lands 7-Foot-3 Transfer Andrew McKeever, Ready for Big Ten Spotlight

IOWA CITY — The Iowa Hawkeyes have added a towering presence to their frontcourt, and Andrew McKeever is eager to prove himself on the biggest stage in college basketball.

The 7-foot-3 transfer from Saint Mary's, who led the West Coast Conference in rebounding in 2026, chose Iowa specifically for the opportunity to compete in the Big Ten. McKeever, a native of Livermore, California — the same hometown as baseball legend Randy Johnson — knows his height draws attention wherever he goes.
