Star Pitcher Hunter Halajian Commits to Northeast Iowa CC

Why is Hunter Halajian heading to Northeast Iowa Community College?
Halajian had a dominant 2026 campaign, proving himself as one of the top arms in the region. In 58 innings of work, the left-hander posted a 6-2 record with 66 strikeouts, a 1.36 WHIP and a solid 3.02 earned run average. He also helped lead Watertown to a runner-up finish in the state Class A South Dakota High School Baseball Association tournament.
