The Oklahoma City Thunder watched a 20-point lead evaporate in an 82-77 Summer League loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, a meltdown that exposed the team's lack of consistent scoring depth.
Playing at the Las Vegas Summer League, the Thunder stormed out to a 26-11 lead after the first quarter, fueled by a 15-0 run. But the offense stalled in the second half, scoring just 17 points in the second quarter and 15 in the third. The Hawks seized control with a 22-8 run, and the Thunder never recovered.
