Zach Nunn secures $2M federal grant to resurface key Ringgold County road

DIAGONAL, Iowa — A crumbling stretch of County Road P33 that serves as a lifeline for nearly 800 daily drivers in Ringgold County is getting a $2 million federal facelift. U.S. Congressman Zach Nunn and Federal Highway Administrator Sean McMaster announced the grant Thursday morning, marking a win for local infrastructure under the Trump administration.
The project, championed by Nunn and delivered through the Federal Highway Administration, aims to resurface 6.7 miles of roadway from State Highway 2 to the city of Diagonal.
