Berkshire CEO Greg Abel Becomes US Citizen at Iowa Cubs Game

How Did Greg Abel Become a U.S. Citizen?
Abel, who was born in the Canadian city of Edmonton in 1962, was among roughly two dozen people from 16 countries who took the oath of allegiance Thursday night. The ceremony took place right before the AAA minor league baseball team played the Buffalo Bisons.
Despite an estimated net worth of around $1 billion and running a company valued at more than $1 trillion, Abel maintained his typical low profile. His role as Berkshire's CEO was not highlighted at the event, but he did throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
