Nunn Backs Cancer Research, Calls for 'Sustainable' Health Care Model at Adel Event

ADEL, Iowa — U.S. Rep. Zach Nunn told cancer patients and survivors Friday that the current Republican-led Congress has been the most effective in a generation at advancing cancer research funding, while also calling for a more sustainable approach to health care coverage.

Speaking at an American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network event at the Adel Public Library, Nunn, who represents Iowa's 3rd Congressional District and is running for reelection in 2026, heard personal stories from Iowans battling the disease.
